The installation of the belt conveyor frame begins with the head frame, followed by the intermediate frames of each section, and concludes with the tail frame. Prior to frame installation, a centerline must be marked along the entire length of the roller conveyor, as this centerline is critical for the proper operation of the conveyor belt.
Therefore, it is necessary to align the centerline with the centerlines of each equipment section, and the frames must be assembled for leveling. The error from the boundary to the centerline is measured at ±0.1mm per meter. The centerline deviation should not exceed 35mm. Once all individual components are installed and accurately positioned, the sections can be connected.
Install the drive equipment. During drive installation, ensure the conveyor's drive shaft aligns with its centerline, with the drive roller's width center coinciding with the conveyor's centerline. The reducer shaft must be parallel to the pulley centerline. All shafts and rollers should be flush. Based on conveyor width, shaft leveling tolerance ranges from 0.5 to 1.5mm. Alongside the drive equipment, tensioning devices such as rear rollers may be employed. The roller shafts of tensioning devices should align with the conveyor belt's centerline.
